KELVANO LED downlights come in two formats for commercial interiors: fixed recessed (KV-DL series) for general lighting and the pull-out gimbal (KV-GD series) for accent and wall-washing. Recessed sizes run 12–55 W with cut-outs from Ø75 to Ø220 mm, all at Ra 90, non-dimming or with Bluetooth (BLE) control. IES and LDT photometric files can be measured for project specifications. Orders run from 50 units to full rollouts, and quotations are returned in 24 hours.
Specification
Three recessed series cover general lighting, budget rollouts and aimable accent. All are IP20 and Ra ≥ 90, in 2700K to 5000K, non-dimming as standard with Triac, 0-10V, DALI and Bluetooth dimming available.

Finish: white or iron grey. Adjustable cut-out range on each size suits retrofits into existing holes.
Adjustable gimbal downlights (KV-GD-101)
The gimbal series is the pull-out type: the head comes out of the housing on a pivot arm and rotates, so the beam reaches a wall or a display rather than the floor below it. Selectable power and colour temperature
Most KELVANO track spot and downlight series can be supplied with a switch on the fixture that sets the power level and one of three colour temperatures on site. Dimming (Triac, 0-10V, DALI or Bluetooth) is available alongside. The exact wattage steps and colour temperatures are confirmed per model on your quotation.
What this means for your stock:
- One model replaces several: a single switchable fixture covers low, medium and high output and warm, neutral and cool white.
- Fewer SKUs to hold: distributors stock one part number per size instead of one per wattage and colour temperature.
- Decide on site: the installer sets output and colour at handover, after the space is fitted out, not at the order stage.
- Simpler replacements: a spare from the shelf can be set to match the fixtures already installed.
Recessed or gimbal: which to specify
- KV-DL recessed: fixed, straight-down. The general-lighting layer for hotel rooms, corridors, offices and retail floors. Specify by cut-out size and lumen output to hit the target lux at your ceiling height.
- KV-GD gimbal: the head pulls out and rotates. Aim it at a wall, a product display or a feature; use it where the ceiling grid does not line up with what needs lighting. Pair with Ra 90 for fashion, food and hospitality.

Bluetooth (BLE) control
Bluetooth (BLE) control is available on selected series; confirmed per series on your quotation. Where it is fitted, the module sits inside the fitting. Fixtures form their own wireless network and are grouped, dimmed and scene-set from a phone app, a handheld remote or a wall panel, with no control cable and no DALI bus. For retail rollouts and refits, that removes the most expensive part of adding lighting control. Specify Bluetooth (BLE) or non-dimming per SKU on your RFQ. Not sure which dimming system to use? Applications
The range splits into dedicated pages by format: the anti-glare COB downlight for general recessed lighting, the recessed downlight with prismatic diffuser for wide even coverage, the deep recessed adjustable spotlight and mini pinhole recessed spotlight for accent work, and the square grid downlight where a framed multi-head fitting suits the ceiling.
Where the head has to come out of the ceiling to reach a wall, the pull-out gimbal downlight brings the head out of the housing on a pivot arm, the round grid downlight and the recessed tiltable downlight both pull down and tilt on a yoke, and the dimmable recessed spotlight covers 5 to 35 W where the dimming protocol is set by the project.
- Retail & shop lighting: recessed for the ambient layer, pull-out gimbal for wall-wash and display accent, above the 300 lx sales-area minimum.
- Hospitality: hotel rooms and corridors at Ra 90, DALI-dimmed for scene control.
